To a lot of people, fashion is just an interest in the use of money to purchase meaningless pieces of fabric to impress and please shallow people who only care about looks. To me, it is so much more than just fabric sewn together. It is an expression. Like dancing, what you wear can express your feelings, express who you are. Performing a piece of choreography, you can put so much emotion into a collection of movements to express how you feel, your life story. You can do the exact same with an outfit. Each piece of clothing or accessory can represent so much. Your mood, whether it is feeling like a fierce queen, or a shy skater, you can express that with an envelope skirt and Louis Vuitton clutch or an American Eagle beanie and ripped skinny jeans. Me, I perfer a Versace dress with Alexander Wang pumps.
Such a cliche, the best accessory is a smile. While very true, I believe gaining that confidence to smile is feeling good and fierce with what you present yourself in.
